In
spring 2006 I travelled to Australia for the first time. You can
find fotos and some narrative about this trip under the link "Australia
2006". I was quite fascinated by what I saw and experienced and decided
to return to Australia and also to visit New Zealand as soon as
possible. It turns out, I can do this pretty soon. In February 2007 I
will fly to New Zealand for two weeks followed by another two weeks in
Australia. You will find fotos and a travelogue after I am back (and
after I found the time to edit and post the information). I will also
put together two linkpages for Australia and New Zealand where I will
list sources I found helpful in preparing for and during my trips You
will also find links (city tourism boards, hostels, tour operators,
etc) all over the website.
- You will probably notice that - in contrast to most
of the rest of my website - these pages are, at least for the moment,
purely in (American) English. I have chosen to use this language because I know
quite a few people who don't understand German while most Germans I
know can read English. If I find the time, I will also add some German
translations later, however, I always wanted to add more English
content to the rest of my website and never got to it, so ...
